Software Engineer
Job Summary
Contributing to the development of a Kubernetes platform, the full-time Software Engineer will write Rust code to manage cloud resources, collaborate with a world-class engineering team, and engage with users to enhance features in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain Rust code for creating and managing cloud resources
- Utilize AI to improve code quality and development speed
- Collaborate on architecture and feature design while gathering user requirements and troubleshooting issues
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience, including 1 year of Rust
- Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to debug complex, distributed environments
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with backend infrastructure tools such as datastores and message brokers
- Ability to work asynchronously in a remote-first startup environment
