Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Enrollment team, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will design and implement tools for member enrollment, maintain high-quality web application code, and engage in hands-on coding while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement tools for eligibility verification, plan matching, and activation in the member enrollment funnel
- Maintain site stability through code reviews and writing unit and integration tests while applying best practices for coding standards
- Participate in on-call rotations to address reliability issues and ensure system stability in the enrollment pipeline
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code
- Experience with Ruby (preferred) or Python
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Hands-on experience directing AI coding agents for software development tasks
