Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of real-time data systems, the full-time Software Engineer will design, build, and optimize backend services in Python and Go, while also enhancing user-facing features in a React/TypeScript application, all within a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve Python and Go services for processing real-time sports betting data
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant services and data flows, balancing trade-offs in throughput, latency, and cost
- Provide technical guidance to clients during API integration, ensuring seamless performance
Required qualifications
- 4-7 years of engineering experience focused on data pipelines, real-time systems, or API-driven platforms
- Strong skills in Python and proficiency in Go for backend service development
- Experience with frontend technologies, specifically React and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL, including query performance optimization
- Knowledge of sports and sports betting is required
