Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and scaling Go services for agent quoting and application submission tools, the full-time Software Engineer II will collaborate closely with App & Checkout teams while contributing to architectural discussions and improving CI/CD practices in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Go services that support agent quoting and configuration tools
- Engage in architectural discussions and resolve partner-specific edge cases as distribution volume increases
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct peer reviews, and support knowledge transfer within the team
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional backend software development experience
- Proficiency in Go and experience with distributed systems or microservices
- Familiarity with API design (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI) and Docker for local development
- Experience with CI/CD practices and using AI coding tools in engineering work
- Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and mentor team members
