Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a mid-to-senior level Software Engineer to work remotely in the US, who will design and build backend services using TypeScript and NestJS on AWS, contributing to the evolution of APIs and the modernization of legacy systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend microservices aligned with service-oriented architecture best practices
- Design, implement, and document secure and efficient RESTful APIs for client teams
- Migrate legacy serverless functions to containerized services, enhancing performance and maintainability
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on backend or full-stack applications in a cloud environment
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js, with experience in NestJS or similar frameworks
- Solid knowledge of AWS services, particularly in deploying containerized applications in AWS ECS
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with an understanding of security and performance considerations
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
