Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a mid-level Software Engineer, Level II, the full-time remote position will analyze, design, develop, and implement software solutions for a federal regulatory submission platform while collaborating across development and quality assurance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and implement software solutions for new applications and modifications to existing platform components
- Participate in all phases of the enterprise performance life cycle, producing necessary lifecycle artifacts for each release
- Execute unit and integration testing, support regression testing, and remediate defects identified in test or production environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience in Java and familiarity with modern Java Development Kits and enterprise Java frameworks
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working knowledge of relational databases and SQL or PL/SQL
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk (Tier 2) Public Trust background investigation
