Software Engineer
Job Summary
To develop and maintain software applications for internal and external credit union use, the full-time hybrid Software Engineer will focus on full stack development, database design, and API implementations while ensuring quality systems with an emphasis on security and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead full stack software development, including database design, services, and front-end UI development
- Participate in collaborative coding sessions and code reviews while following best practices and coding standards
- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to process improvements and automation opportunities
Required qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of software development experience with expertise in C# or Java
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with .NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Proficiency in creating and consuming web services, including REST and SOAP
- Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
