Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a proactive Software Engineer III for a contract position in Mountain View, CA, who will participate in the design, development, and integration of a next-generation Enterprise Identity Provisioning system in the cloud, with approximately 80% hands-on coding responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend software, including enhancements and bug fixes
- Gather functional requirements and develop technical specifications while participating in project and test planning
- Implement a full SDLC lifecycle, including CI/CD processes, within an agile development team
Required qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience building and consuming web APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) and designing service interfaces
- Strong back-end expertise in Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, and front-end expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Experience with automated testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle and software design and architecture processes
