Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and maintaining micro1's human data platforms, the full-time Software Engineer will design and ship fullstack features across backend APIs, data pipelines, and React frontends while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement fullstack features, including backend services and client-facing data delivery
- Collaborate with research engineering and product teams to translate platform needs into production-ready systems
- Troubleshoot production issues and enhance frameworks for agent-driven development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 0-5 years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in Python and TypeScript
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQLite and core data modeling principles
- Familiarity with deploying services on major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Understanding of coding agents and their application in development workflows
