Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating closely with Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams, the full-time remote Software Engineer will drive the development of new products and initiatives, utilizing AI-assisted development tooling and ensuring high-quality code delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Write client-side interfaces using Javascript/React and server-side functionality with Ruby/Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, or NodeJS
- Drive the creation, shipping, and maintenance of capabilities across the Opal Platform
- Participate in the entire product creative process, including design meetings and technical architecture decisions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience, focusing on frontend development
- Experience developing enterprise-grade, cloud-based web applications with relational database technologies like Postgres
- Working proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling and an understanding of its appropriate application
- Strong knowledge of web application architecture patterns and their trade-offs
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
