Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the modernization of a cloud-native platform, the full-time remote Software Engineer will design and maintain microservices, APIs, and event-driven workflows using AWS technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain cloud-native microservices and APIs using AWS serverless technologies in TypeScript
- Develop features that integrate with existing WordPress and PHP systems while migrating to a serverless architecture
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams during development cycles to deliver high-quality software solutions
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience developing production software or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience building backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
- Working knowledge of PHP and familiarity with WordPress applications and REST APIs
- Understanding of database design and experience with relational databases like MySQL
