Job Summary
To enhance a tool for identifying configuration anomalies, the contract Software Engineer will work remotely for a duration of 2+ months, focusing on automating data visualization and improving system stability across environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Enhance a tool for comparing server configurations to proactively identify anomalies and support production incidents
- Automate data visualization to display current conditions of all environments in a single view
- Collaborate with developers and production support to ensure environment parity ahead of system cutovers
Required qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience
- Strong programming skills in Java with object-oriented programming expertise
- Proficient in Unix or Unix variant systems and major relational database systems
- Experience with large systems software design and development, ideally with Spring, MVC, and JavaScript
