Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time remote Software Engineer will develop and maintain features for a large-scale Windows desktop CAM application, diagnose and resolve defects, and contribute to technical documentation while collaborating with senior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software features based on specifications from Product Management and senior engineers
- Diagnose and resolve defects in existing code with guidance from senior team members
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of shared ownership and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience in a production environment
- Solid proficiency in C and C++, with exposure to modern standards (C++11/14/17) preferred
- Experience reading, debugging, and extending existing codebases
- Familiarity with Windows desktop application development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
