Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining the Endpoint Data Protection team, the full-time Software Engineer I will implement and enhance endpoint sensor technology across Windows, macOS, and Linux, focusing on kernel drivers and security extensions to prevent data loss and insider risk.

Key responsibilities

• Implement features and fixes for endpoint agents, progressing from scoped tasks to owning small features
• Develop kernel-mode components and Endpoint Security extensions, contributing to detection paths and enforcement logic
• Integrate agent capabilities with backend workflows and build observability into production components

Required qualifications

• Experience in building production software through work, internships, or personal projects
• Strong fundamentals in C++, including memory management and concurrency
• Interest in systems programming with exposure to kernel-mode drivers or similar technologies
• Ability to understand existing software architecture and make sound architectural decisions
• Curiosity about security and the ability to reason about adversarial behavior and insider risk
