Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company in the Information Technology industry is looking for a Software Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust microservices
- Produce designs, rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements
- Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering
- 5 years of experience writing code in Java/J2EE 8 SDK and testing with JUnit in a hosted environment
- Designing solutions using a Web Services (SOAP, REST) and testing those solutions through a framework built for unit testing
- Maintaining a product that uses Git, Jenkins, and Gradle/Maven
- Using the Spring framework with a backing SQL database such as MySQL, IBM DB2, or Oracle
