Job Summary

A company in the Information Technology industry is looking for a Software Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust microservices
• Produce designs, rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements
• Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering
• 5 years of experience writing code in Java/J2EE 8 SDK and testing with JUnit in a hosted environment
• Designing solutions using a Web Services (SOAP, REST) and testing those solutions through a framework built for unit testing
• Maintaining a product that uses Git, Jenkins, and Gradle/Maven
• Using the Spring framework with a backing SQL database such as MySQL, IBM DB2, or Oracle
