Software Engineer, AI Development
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Engineer, AI Development will build and ship features for the Champion platform, enhance developer experience, and support Applied AI teams in deploying Champion agents for manufacturing use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the Champion platform repositories and improve developer experience
- Support BU Applied AI engineers in building, deploying, and operating Champions correctly
- Design and build Champion agents for business-unit use cases as needed
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in async Python, Pydantic, type hints, and FastAPI, with experience in testing frameworks
- Strong ability in prompt engineering and understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Familiarity with multi-agent architectures and orchestration patterns
- Comfortable with Docker, PostgreSQL, and Git/Semantic Versioning
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS is a plus
