Software Engineer - AI Platform

Job Summary

Seeking an ambitious Software Engineer - AI Platform, the remote full-time position will focus on building the user interface layer for Netflix's AI Platform, enhancing model development, evaluation, experimentation, and deployment while collaborating with applied researchers and data scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, design, and implement products to accelerate model development for various ML use cases
• Engage with the ML community to source feedback and identify opportunities for platform evolution
• Develop platform solutions, emphasizing a user-first approach for ML Researchers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or machine learning experience with a bachelor's and master's degree, or a PhD
• Proven skills in software design and development in Python and one of Scala, Java, or C++
• Experience with modern, large-scale ML services and the full lifecycle from data to production deployment
• Familiarity with ML workflow orchestration and tools like Metaflow, Airflow, or Kubeflow
• Broad understanding of core machine learning concepts and their application in real-world systems
