Software Engineer, AI Platform

Job Summary

To enhance the enterprise runtime layer, the full-time Software Engineer, AI Platform will build and maintain Python services, manage production execution flows, and improve observability in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Python enterprise runtime, including FastAPI services and Celery workers
• Own production execution flows, ensuring workflows are resumable, inspectable, and safe to operate at scale
• Improve observability across distributed execution using tools like OpenTelemetry and Sentry

Required qualifications

• Strong Python backend/platform engineering experience, particularly in building production services
• Experience with FastAPI, Celery, Redis, and typed Python
• Good understanding of distributed systems, including retries and failure recovery
• Familiarity with security-sensitive systems, including JWTs and webhooks
• Practical experience in observability practices, such as structured logging and debugging multi-service failures
