Software Engineer, AI Platform

Job Summary

Championing the development of AI capabilities, the full-time Software Engineer, AI Platform will build and ship features for the Champion platform, enhance developer experiences, and support Applied AI teams in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the Champion platform repositories while improving developer experience through tooling and documentation
• Support business unit Applied AI engineers in deploying and operating Champions, ensuring quality and proper implementation
• Design and build Champion agents for specific business unit use cases, including writing system prompts and configuring agent registration

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in async Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, and experience with agentic frameworks and testing methodologies
• Solid understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and experience with multi-agent architectures
• Able to design and run evaluation suites for agent behavior and comfortable with Docker and PostgreSQL
• Familiar with Git, semantic versioning, and follows a PR-based trunk workflow
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and a willingness to adopt AI-native practices in the software development lifecycle
