Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote SimVascular Software Engineer and Architect, this role will manage the architecture and development of the svMultiPhysics solver, oversee code quality and efficiency, and mentor team members in advanced software development for healthcare applications.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and contribute to the svMultiPhysics solver for the SimVascular project
- Oversee code development, including testing, architecture, and quality control in preparation for FDA submission
- Mentor staff and graduate students on all aspects of svMP software development and participate in strategic planning
Required qualifications
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming with C++
- Experience in software development within the healthcare sector
- Familiarity with large-scale physics-based solvers in high-performance computing environments
- Proficiency in parallel computing, version control systems (GitHub), and Agile software development
- Experience with Python and AI-assisted software development tools
