Software Engineer, Automation

Job Summary

Contributing to a distributed workflow automation platform, the full-time Software Engineer, Automation will develop features in Rust and author automation tasks in Ansible and Python to enhance infrastructure and service delivery, all while working remotely from North America.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute features, bug fixes, and improvements to the Rust-based workflow automation platform
• Author automation workflows and tasks in Ansible and Python to support operational needs
• Collaborate with stakeholder teams to transform manual processes into reliable automation solutions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of software development experience, particularly with Python
• Experience with automation or configuration management platforms like Ansible
• Familiarity with RESTful and/or gRPC APIs and data interchange formats such as JSON and YAML
• Working knowledge of Linux and experience using Git in a multi-developer environment
