Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Software Engineer, Autonomous Vehicles specializing in Motion Planning, this remote position will design, implement, and test vehicle software systems, focusing on behavior planning, trajectory optimization, and safety verification.

Key responsibilities

• Architect core behavior planning to guide vehicles through complex maneuvers
• Develop trajectory generation systems balancing safety, comfort, and progress
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate planning with perception and control modules

Required qualifications

• MS/PhD in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in C++ for real-time systems and Python for tooling and data analysis
• Familiarity with planning algorithms and complex decision architectures
• Understanding of vehicle kinematics and dynamics for realistic motion profiles
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 or similar autonomous middleware
