Software Engineer, Backend

Job Summary

To support the transformation of the moving industry, the full-time Software Engineer, Backend will build scalable backend systems, integrate with third-party software, and optimize performance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable backend systems to accommodate millions of users
• Integrate with third-party software such as Payments, Accounting, and CRMs
• Optimize the GraphQL backend for fast performance to enhance user experience

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant tech or product-driven company, preferably in an early-stage startup
• Proficiency in Python/Flask and experience with GraphQL and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with AWS services, including Lambdas, ECS, and DynamoDB
• Experience in building and optimizing backend systems and third-party integrations
• A strong belief in improving the moving experience for customers
