Job Summary

Experienced Software Engineers specializing in Chromium will find a full-time remote opportunity focused on enhancing Dia's embedded-Chromium architecture, collaborating across teams to implement innovative features, and driving the development of AI-driven tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead projects to improve Dia's embedded-Chromium architecture and develop new features
• Advise fellow engineers on Chromium architecture and capabilities while optimizing APIs for seamless integration
• Participate in the Chromium engineering on-call rotation, ensuring responsiveness to incidents and supporting upgrades

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of production-level coding experience, particularly with C++ and Chromium development
• Flexibility to work across the entire tech stack, including learning Swift
• Experience independently managing critical projects with minimal guidance
• Motivated by complex problems and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to maintain 4+ hours of overlap with team members in the Eastern Time Zone
