Software Engineer, CI Platform

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer, CI Platform will focus on developing and modernizing the CI platform infrastructure, enhancing workflow orchestration for scalable software development while collaborating with experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Experiment with and prototype new features in a remote sandbox environment to enhance CI-related workflows
• Debug workflow orchestration delays and optimize the performance of remote execution and cache infrastructure
• Build and implement improved mechanisms for canarying workflow orchestration changes safely and iteratively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Interest in distributed systems engineering and optimization problems
• General knowledge of Kubernetes, EC2, Golang, and Docker
• Metrics-driven approach to decision-making with a focus on delivering quantifiable impact
