Software Engineer - Cloud

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Cloud, Data Platform (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a data platform that processes petabytes of data
• Participate in technical reviews and assist in developing new features and enhancing stability
• Research and implement efficient querying methods for data extraction for internal stakeholders and customers

Required Qualifications

• BSc degree and 4+ years of experience in building products and processing data at scale
• Solid understanding of algorithms, distributed systems design, and the software development lifecycle
• Background in Java/Scala and a scripting language like Python
• Experience in building large-scale data pipelines
• Familiarity with the Apache Hadoop ecosystem and relational/NoSQL databases
