Software Engineer Consultant

Job Summary

To support the Information Technology Merger and Acquisition team, the remote Software Engineer Consultant will lead system conversion projects, develop technical solutions, and serve as a mentor for less experienced associates while ensuring functionality and quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead efforts to analyze data files and formats for system enhancements, constructing programs and reports while ensuring output meets specifications
• Provide technical support by addressing complex system issues, ensuring end-user functionality, and managing major projects
• Utilize expertise to mentor associates, participate in special projects, and advise on strategies that align developmental projects with long-term business needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Software Application Development and Maintenance, or
• High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Software Application Development and Maintenance
