Software Engineer (Contract)

Job Summary

Working remotely or in-person on a contract basis, the Software Engineer (Contract) will build and ship high-quality software across the full stack, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to support client missions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software and ensure adherence to best practices and design standards
• Support and collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers while reviewing and debugging code
• Engage in research, prototyping, and recommending software solutions to complex problems

Required qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of professional experience as a software developer/engineer
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating with AI tools
• Experience developing user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React
• Proficiency in developing web applications with frameworks such as Rails, Django, or NodeJS
• Comfort working with SQL databases
