Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative data products and infrastructure, the full-time Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure will design, build, and scale solutions for APIs, automated reporting, and graph-based visualizations, working remotely and collaborating closely with the R&D team.
Key responsibilities
- Design and operate end-to-end data infrastructure and solutions for federal and commercial clients
- Model and deploy relational, document, and graph databases for investigative workflows and network analysis
- Build resilient ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and normalize structured and semi-structured data from various sources
Required qualifications
- Proficient in Python with proven experience in production data infrastructure and pipeline systems
- Deep PostgreSQL experience, including schema design and query optimization
- Experience in graph data modeling and network analysis, preferably with Neo4j and Cypher
- Production experience deploying and configuring containerized services to AWS
- Ability to pass a U.S. Tier 3 background investigation, generally limited to U.S. citizens
