Job Summary
To support the scaling and advancement of data infrastructure, the full-time Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure will build data-related infrastructure and tooling, collaborate with various teams, and guide large-scale projects in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Guide complex initiatives from initial requirements gathering to deployment, collaborating closely with stakeholders
- Build scalable data infrastructure and shape the developer experience, focusing on data cataloging, versioning, and lineage
- Provide technical guidance to engineering and research staff, fostering a supportive environment for team growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Proven track record of software design and implementation with a focus on correctness, robustness, and efficiency
- Expertise in a modern programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++
- Hands-on experience developing in a Linux/UNIX environment
