Software Engineer - Data Platform

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core frameworks and infrastructure for distributed data processing
• Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and internal APIs for product and data teams
• Architect systems for efficient handling of real-time and large-scale batch workloads

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend or platform systems
• Strong proficiency in Go, including building concurrent and distributed systems
• Experience with data lake architectures, especially Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake
• Solid experience operating production systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
