Software Engineer, Data Platform

Job Summary

To drive the development of critical data platform systems, the full-time Software Engineer, Data Platform will define technical direction, lead the buildout of data orchestration and streaming platforms, and design scalable infrastructure while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical direction and lead the development of data platform systems
• Design scalable, reliable, multi-tenant data infrastructure and own core platform concerns
• Collaborate with engineering partners to enable fast, safe, and scalable development across various teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on scalable, high-performance distributed systems
• Strong experience with streaming data systems and orchestration platforms
• Hands-on experience designing and operating stateful, real-time data pipelines at scale
• Expertise in managing cloud data stores and data lake architectures
• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language, preferably Python
