Software Engineer, Data Platform

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of identity data systems, the full-time remote Software Engineer, Data Platform will design, develop, and operate robust software that transforms high volumes of identity data from third-party integrations into trusted, actionable insights for product consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate systems that ensure the correctness and freshness of identity data for product consumers
• Build shared primitives and interfaces that abstract raw identity data into foundational building blocks for various products
• Establish SLOs and operational tooling to catch and remediate failures in identity data systems proactively

Required qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience as a backend or platform engineer building production data systems
• Strong backend development skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript with a focus on clean API design
• Instinct for data correctness, observability, and SLOs in systems with downstream product dependencies
• Experience designing service or API interfaces over transactional databases like MySQL or Postgres
• Familiarity with identity and access governance (IGA) data and its impact on governance outcomes
