Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer DBA.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to HA Open Source Database solutions utilizing mariadb, postgres, and tidb
- Revisit current architecture and recommend improvements or address gaps in designs
- Ensure data protection and backups, even in non-production environments
Required Qualifications
- Experience running mariadb and postgres in HA settings
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts
- Developer experience with Golang and Python or similar programming languages
- Some experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Ability to recover from replication failures and other issues
