Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Database - Distributed Storage & Transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, design, implement, test, and release new database features and enhancements
• Write high-quality C++ code, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot issues in a distributed system
• Improve database scalability, enhance administrator experience, and contribute to the growth of the open-source database product

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with compiled languages like C/C++, Java, Go, or Rust
• Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and synchronization
• Systems engineering fundamentals in distributed systems, operating systems, and databases
• BS/MS/PhD in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
