Software Engineer - Developer Experience

Job Summary

Working remotely, onsite, or in a hybrid capacity, the full-time Software Engineer - Developer Experience will own end-to-end developer workflows, build foundational tooling for the open-source ecosystem, and ensure high code quality while collaborating with various teams to enhance developer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end developer workflows from local setup through CI/CD, deployment, and operations
• Build the foundational CLI, APIs, and tooling that power the open-source ecosystem
• Maintain high code quality standards through well-tested and well-architected solutions

Required qualifications

• Experience with Go is ideal; PHP knowledge, particularly with Symfony, is a strong plus
• Genuine curiosity about developer tools and empathy for users, demonstrated through relevant projects or contributions
• Hands-on experience improving Developer Experience through CLI tooling, automation, or workflow optimization
• Comfort with automated testing and CI workflows, and familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
• Strong communication skills, especially in asynchronous settings, and excellent English proficiency
