Software Engineer - Federal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Federal Geospatial (Hub-Remote: DC or Philly Metro).

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including user story generation, design, development, automated testing, and operational support
• Improve code quality through active participation in code reviews and adherence to team standards
• Collaborate with other engineers to elevate technology and apply best practices consistently

Required Qualifications

• Active NOAA CAC badge
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience building full-stack applications using Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical major, such as Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
