Software Engineer for Solar Integration

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Solar & Storage Cloud Integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software systems for integrating and optimizing battery storage solutions with PV solar assets
• Create real-time monitoring dashboards and reporting systems for battery and solar performance
• Evaluate and select battery vendors based on integration capabilities and software quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Java, or similar frameworks
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar PV systems
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of data communication standards (REST APIs, MQTT)
