Software Engineer - Formal Methods

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Engineer - Formal Methods will design and develop tools for automated verification of smart contracts, ensuring their correctness and identifying security issues.

Key responsibilities

• Extend and implement automated program verification tools while brainstorming new tool designs
• Adapt algorithms for symbolic software model checking and improve existing methodologies
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop tools and set technical direction for problem-solving

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, including internships and open-source projects
• At least 2 years of experience with model checking, formal verification, or related disciplines
• Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental computer science concepts such as data structures and algorithms
