Software Engineer, Host Assurance

Job Summary

Building and operating services and APIs for trusted compute infrastructure, the full-time Software Engineer, Host Assurance will design, implement, and maintain systems that ensure the security and reliability of bare-metal and VM hosts in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate components of the Host Assurance platform for trust establishment in production environments
• Validate hardware and firmware against vendor claims, managing drift and ensuring secure bootstrap processes
• Own software components through implementation, operational readiness, and ongoing support, including defining readiness criteria and monitoring systems

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience in building and operating reliable production systems at scale
• Depth in distributed systems, backend or platform engineering, or infrastructure security
• Experience writing production-quality code with a focus on operational safety and maintainability
• Experience supporting critical production systems, including participation in on-call rotations
• Ability to work across disciplines and thrive in ambiguous environments with high stakes
