Software Engineer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer I to join their Information Systems team and contribute to software development for clean energy technology incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete tasks under direction while applying software engineering principles using Python, Django, and Postgres
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and contribute to quality control and technical support
• Update project tickets with current status and contribute new unit tests while addressing any test failures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in Python, with preferred experience in the Django framework
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, or Oracle
