Software Engineer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer I to build and integrate backend services for a modern healthcare portal hosted on an Azure-native platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure Functions to support business logic and data workflows
• Build and manage APIs with Azure API Management, including versioning and policy enforcement
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, HIPAA, and FISMA security and data-handling standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in backend development, with at least three years on Azure
• Solid experience with Azure Functions and API Management
• Proficiency in Azure SQL development, including stored procedures and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization using Entra ID (Azure AD B2C)
