Software Engineer I

Job Summary

To strengthen the reliability and performance of the CCIP protocol, the full-time remote Software Engineer I will design and maintain backend services for secure cross-chain transactions while contributing to protocol security initiatives and improving system resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve backend services for reliable cross-chain message execution across blockchain ecosystems
• Improve protocol reliability by delivering resilient systems with a focus on security
• Develop internal tooling for faster diagnosis and resolution of production issues during incidents

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated backend engineering experience using Go, Rust, or TypeScript
• Experience delivering software within crypto projects or remote-first engineering organizations
• Proven ability to design distributed systems with security and reliability as foundational principles
• Experience maintaining backend systems in production with a focus on resiliency
• Collaboration experience in engineering design discussions and technical decision-making
