Software Engineer I

Job Summary

To support the Engineering department's growth, the full-time remote Software Engineer I will identify and resolve technical issues, configure data flows between partners, and maintain scripts while participating in an on-call rotation every 3-4 weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Identify root causes of technical issues and respond to production problems
• Configure programs and data flows between EnergyHub and its OEM or Utility partners
• Debug reported issues and contribute bug-fix pull requests to the codebase

Required qualifications

• Experience with debugging tools such as AWS Cloudwatch, Sentry, or Datadog
• Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Python
• Familiarity with Fullstack web development and the AWS ecosystem
• Understanding of code versioning concepts and experience with tools like git
• Experience working with 3rd Party APIs using Postman
