Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Building and shipping features and services within the team's architecture, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will develop high-quality, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to an inclusive team culture while working primarily with Python or Java.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship features and services within the team's architecture
• Migrate rapidly-prototyped applications into production-grade cloud services
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering and operational excellence standards

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or Java
• Comfortable working with relational databases, specifically Postgres
• Familiarity with version control, code review, and automated testing
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
