Software Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II to design and develop the next generation of the Azure file storage stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain and operate a high-resiliency file service with multi-protocol support and high scale
• Implement enhancements in the Core Azure File Storage service, including disaster-recovery and auto-tiering
• Collaborate with engineers and respond to live site issues from customers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, or Java
• 1+ years of experience in scalable system software and/or services
• 1+ years of experience with system/service/application development using C, C++, C#, or Java
• 1+ years of experience with multithreading, systems design, and debugging and profiling
• Ability to meet security screening requirements for the role
