Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer II, I/O.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype innovative solutions to enhance query processing performance of the database
- Implement new functionalities in C++ and develop automated tests using Python
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to investigate software issues and brainstorm solutions
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field
- Industry experience writing code using an object-oriented programming language
- Familiarity with CPU architecture and assembly code
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with C or C++
