Software Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II to join their Azure Compute team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to determine project requirements and leads design and architecture of change management features
• Develops high-quality, maintainable code while mentoring other engineers and supports livesite monitoring as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI)
• Seeks new knowledge and adapts to trends that improve product availability, reliability, and performance, sharing insights with the engineering team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience in coding with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems analysis and troubleshooting
• Ability to meet security screening requirements upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
