A company is looking for a Software Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a custom Linux OS platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and security
• Participate in monitoring and troubleshooting OS health and performance issues
• Collaborate with open-source communities to develop necessary features and integrate new technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Rust, or Python
• OR equivalent experience
• 1+ year of experience in systems programming in Linux
• Ability to meet security screening requirements
• Preferred: 1+ years experience with systemd, open-source contributions, and large-scale distributed systems
