Software Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II for the Messaging Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical delivery of key messaging platform features, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Build and maintain backend messaging systems using Ruby on Rails, including SMS/voice delivery pipelines and consent management workflows
• Participate in team rituals, code reviews, and architectural discussions while growing ownership of well-defined features

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with proficiency in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
• Experience building and maintaining backend systems, APIs, and services with growing independence
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, coding best practices, and design patterns
• Working SQL proficiency with an analytical mindset for troubleshooting and technical decision-making
